Getting there and the terminal

TP Line takes you on the MB Arta from Zadar to Dugi Otok and on to Iž. The line starts in Zadar and first calls at Sali, the largest village on Dugi Otok, before continuing to Zaglav; some departures then go on to Bršanj on the neighbouring island of Iž. On weekdays the boat leaves Zadar three times, and on Sundays three times at slightly different times, which usually leaves enough leeway for a day trip with a same-day return.

Check-in

At the quay in Zadar you should be there 30 minutes before departure; at Sali, Zaglav and Bršanj, 15 minutes is enough. The boarding points are right in each village.

On board

Each passenger is allowed 20 kilograms of luggage, and if there is space the crew will take more. Small pets travel in a closed carrier; larger animals only if a suitable deck cage is on board.

Vehicles and bikes

The MB Arta is a passenger-only line: it carries neither cars nor bikes. If you want to take your own car to Dugi Otok, you need the separate car ferry to Brbinj in the north of the island; more in the guide to car ferries in Croatia.

Arrival and onward travel

In Sali you dock right in the heart of the largest village on Dugi Otok. The fishing village is the closest gateway to Telašćica Nature Park with its sheer cliffs and the saltwater Lake Mir; entry and access are managed by the park authority on site. Zaglav and Bršanj are much smaller quays with short walks into each village.
