Getting there and the terminal
The catamaran to Korčula leaves from Split's city port, on the eastern side of the harbour in the centre. All lines from Split are listed on ferries from Split, and combinations of several islands in our guide to island hopping in Croatia.
Check-in
With TP Line, be at the quay at least 15 minutes before departure. Krilo Kapetan Luka also recommends at least 15 minutes.
On board
On the longer route you will be on board for two to three hours or more, depending on the boat. The catamarans are seating-only boats without cabins; payment options on board vary by operator. With Krilo Kapetan Luka, hand luggage up to 10 kilograms is included in the ticket, plus checked luggage up to 23 kilograms per person; the operator charges extra for more luggage.
Vehicles and bikes
Both operators run passenger-only catamarans that don't carry vehicles.
Arrival and onward travel
The catamarans dock right in front of Korčula's medieval old town: the town walls, bell tower and narrow lanes of the peninsula are just a few steps from the quay. If you take the route via Hvar, you have the option of a stopover in Hvar Town before continuing to Korčula. The direct Hvar - Korčula line saves the detour via Split entirely and is ideal for an island-hopping route through central and southern Dalmatia.
